Safety and Rope Access

IRAANZ members adhere to rigorous safety standards. IRAANZ is recognized by Occupational Safety and Health as the representative body for the industry.

The Rope Access industry has an excellent safety record. Rope access techinicans are required to abide by the standards in the industry, regardless of whether they are IRAANZ members or not. Failing to do so could result in prosecution by OSH.

IRAANZ aims to educate those industries that employ industrial rope access technicians, such as building owners, architects, property developers and managers, in the importance of using appropriately qualified technicians.

IRAANZ members contribute to the development of industry safety standards, and receive discounts when ordering standards from OSH.
